She's sleeping now. She looks so peaceful and calm in her bed. I also hand washed two sets of clothes and lots of towels and I'm thinking of preparing dinner/late lunch. Peter is also sleeping, he's not feeling good either... Headache he said...

Perhaps I should prepare the pork chops... But seriously, I don't feel like doing that... But... We have to eat... I think...

I'm so tired now... I couldn't sleep this night and Michelle woke up early. So I took her up, and went down stairs (instead of cuddling in my bed) and put her with her toys. Then I took a blanket and tried to sleep on the couch. I think I sleept a few minutes every now and then, but it wasn't enough. Maybe I should sleep a while too...?

Peter and I just came in from a well needed walk. Michelle was as happy as she can be in her sledge! Her cheeks are now so red and she's very happy! So easy to please a child when they are so young, I can imagine it gets harder and harder... For example, I don't know what christmas gift Michelle will get this year. I mean, she won't care that much and she won't wish for something and then get disappointed if the didn't get that exact product! I can imagine it's harder with a seven or a nine year old...

But actually, I only know what to buy for two people; mom and Rebecka. REbecka is so easy to buy to, since she's interested in so many things! It's so easy! Petra, she harder, but she actually made a wish! Will see what I'll do... My dad... O Lord... He is the hardest! Fathers day occur last sunday in November, his birthday in December 9th and then it's christmas!

It's been like two hours since my last sentence... Michelle is not feeling good... She just vomit twice in half an hours... Waiting for the nurse to call me back... Got to go...

Finally we managed to actually go through with the dinner! I stressed out the day until 3 pm, but I was stressed with a big smile on my face! But I'm disapointed with two things. First thing is that my potatoes needed a few more minutes longer in the owen. Second thing is that I didn't take any pictures! I was soooooo proud over my appetizer! It was a martini glass with different vegetables (lettuce, rocket salad, bell pepper, mushroom, onion and sugar peas) topped with lots of shrimps! (hand peeled of course) This was then topped with creme fraiche, chives and lumpfish roe! (to Swedish speaking people lumpfish roe = stenbitsrom). To this I also served garlic bread and raw spiced salmon. (to Swedish speaking people: raw spiced salmon = gravad lax). I think this was appreciated, I loved it anyway! (haha, are you allowed to say that about your own food???)

The main course was pork tenderloin with baked potatoes (that wasn't perfectly cooked...). I also made two sauces to this, red wine sauce and mushroom sauce! And I made everything "home made"! So I'm quite proud of my self!

Now, the kitchen is back to normal (thank you for helping my wonderful Aphram) and I even managed to run the washing machine and hang up the laundry! Wow... =)

Now it's soon time to go to sleep.

I'm back in Sigtuna! My dearest husband has made a very nice welcome home change! He bought a lanthorn and but it at the porch. Very nice lanthorn actually! He also bought me a beautiful red rose!Isn't he great?! And if that wasn't enough, he also prepared the meat for tomorrow! I think I have the best man in the world!

Michelle is now playing with ther daddy! I don't know who is having more fun... =) But they look so cute together!

Now it's time to eat!

Saturday is here and I'm still in Falköping! My poor husband is still alone! Today I was supposed to be back home all ready, but Aphram thought I should wait for my brother so we could come back home together. And that's the way it is now... I'm waiting for Peter so we can come back home to Sigtuna! Today Aphram and the rest of the family are having breakfast at TG's, she's serving Knefe she brought from Lebanon. I like knefe, but like spending time here more, so it's okay =)

Tomrorrow I'm having a dinner party! We'll be seven adults and three children (Michelle included). Starter, main course and dessert! It will be lots of fun! I love to cook, so I will really enjoy the time preparing the food. I will start as soon as I come home actually!

Now I have to go, eat and prepare for the trip home! See you when I'm back in Sigtuna.

I just ate another "mommy dish"... Loooooove! I don't eat aubergine unless I'm here, since Aphram doesn't like it and his family almost never use it in their cooking. But they use it for one dish though... The problem is that I just don't like it! So most of the time when I'm here I ask for food with aubergine in it. Yummy!

Today I spent two hours with a friend I haven't seen for a while. And it's true when they say, a real friend doesn't let time come in between. Even if it was a long time ago two true friends saw each other, they pick up the conversation as if they spoke the day before... I many friends I don't see much often, but I don't think about it when I meet them. So today, I talked, laughed and teased as I always do. I really love meeting up, no matter how long time ago it was since last time. So much feelings bubbles up, so much memories to talk about and just talking about the everyday life can be so relieving! Saying good bye is a bit sad, knowing it might take a long time before we meet up again. But next time, we'll be just like today, the conversation will continue as if we meet the day before.

Remember, your friends are very important, don't forget that!

It's getting warmer! I don't need to wear a cardigan indoors anymore! Yippie! But outside it's just getting colder and colder. This morning around 8 it was -20 degrees. So I'm very happy that they solved the problem with the heating here, otherwise I would have called the nearest hotel =) How's the weather where you're at?

I just called one of my best friends and celebrated her on her birthday. and I was apperently the first one to call her. Everybody else just left a message on Facebook. I just wish people could actually take their time and call somebody up once in a while. Leave a message on FB too (because if it isn't on FB it has never happened) but make a phone call as well!!! It just takes a few minutes, but the receiver appreciates it! Why is it that hard to do that? Even people who never talks to you celebrate you on FB, show that you actually care and be personal!

So Sina, now I'm going to leave a celebration message on you FB wall, since the phone call hasn't happened until FB knows... Happy Birthday girl!!!

Pascale
